The Best of Amateur Radio From high atop the hill at Leavenworth’s VA City Park (across from Waggin’ Tails Dog Park) the Pilot Knob Amateur Radio Club hosted Field Day June 22-23, 2024. Clubs and individuals across North America demonstrated the ability of Radio Amateurs to establish wide ranging communications over an extended period in a location without commercial power, phones or internet. Field Day is known as our Open House because it demonstrates a full suite of capabilities. We appreciate the nearly 30 visitors who came by to visit our Field Day site. Pictures were published in the June 25, 2024 edition of The Leavenworth Times.
