An announcement made by the Leavenworth County Office of Emergency Management on August 27th, may indicate a forthcoming Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
The announcement posted upcoming courses in October and November of 2024 to develop CERT Program Managers and CERT Trainers. These two positions would then be the catalysts for creating a CERT here in Leavenworth.
