The 15 who gathered at the February 1, 2024 club meeting were treated to several good demos and great information. We had two interested non-Hams and one brand new Technician waiting for his callsign. We also had a visitor from De Soto but he wasn’t feeling well and left.
We looked at the new PKARC web site (which you’re looking at now), the new PKARC Groups.io site, the prototype antenna to be built at the Feb 15th Kit Build, a nice teaser and information about the upcoming Freeze Your Keys winter operating event on Feb 24th, and a look at the large-factor software-defined radio kit that Gary WØMNA is building.
At the end of the meeting, President Steve WØSER went around the room asking what everyone had on their Amateur Radio workbench. The answers were different for every member. We’re really an active group with our interests across a good section of the hobby.
The meeting closed about 75 minutes after it started.
